The Cranberries

The Cranberries are another one of my favorites. Guess what? They're from Ireland too! (Sorry if that sounds like a clip from the Mini Pages in a Monday newspaper.) I've always liked their songs, but I think their current release, Bury the Hatchet moved them to a higher position on my list. This latest release is more pop sounding than the previous releases, but it's just as classy and worthy of airplay as its predecessors. Ms. O'riordan's vocals are astounding as usual. This is also one of the few cds that I've bought where every single song was in my opinion, excellent! There is the one weird exception of "People are Stranger." What exactly was that about? Anyway,  I'm looking forward to their next release.
